Physics is often studied as a separate subject during GCSE or A-Level. It is at this time a physics tutor can really start to make the big difference. Our physics tutors have the experience across all the main exam bodies and also the prescribed practicals.

What should you expect from a physics tutor?

How is a GCSE and A Level tutorial different?
Maths is a big part of the physics but you can expect a lot more maths at A Level and to a greater depth using more advanced maths, trigonometry for example.
Handling equations is one place where a tutor can help. Away from the classroom, a tutor and student can spend more time focusing on the methodology and application.
How much does tuition cost?
Sometimes the cost of the more advanced A Level tuition can be a little more. The distance travelled by the tutor to visit the home can also add a little to the cost but we always aim to keep the prices affordable for parents.
What should you expect to pay for a tutor?
- Single Student (45 minutes) from £22
Physics is a demanding subject for many pupils and, from our experience, 45 minutes is often long enough to get a lot of work done without stretching a student's ability to concentrate. However, an hour may be better for physics A-Level, where there is much more work to cover.
- Buying in advance up to 10% off
Buying MULTIPLE sessions in advance will also help keep costs down (used anytime within 12months). 2 tutorials – 5% off 5 tutorials – 10% off
- Groups from £26
GROUP Tuition is another way of keeping control of the costs. Two or three friends working together helps everyone make progress. TWO students per session (1 hour) – £26 THREE students per session (1 hour) – £30
