What kind of tuition are you looking for?
Key Stage 2, 3 and SATs
If your child is reaching the of their time in primary school or in year 7 or year 8, then this is all about building confidence in the classroom or preparing for the year 6 SATs.
GCSE
Studying the GCSE syllabus can start in year 9 but the crucial years are 10 and 11. Consolidating classroom learning is important but we’ll keep one eye on the final exams.
A Level
Perhaps you’re a year 12 or 13 thinking about University or an apprenticeship? An A Level in maths will help you achieve your goals and tuition will help you beyond the classroom.
How much does tuition cost?
We want to keep the prices affordable for parents. Sometimes the level of tuition (such as A-Level maths) can make a difference. The distance travelled by the maths tutor to visit the home may also add a little to the cost.
What should you expect to pay? Read further.
- Single Student (45 minutes) from £22
Maths can be a challenging subject for many pupils. We've found 45 minutes is often long enough to get a lot of work done but without the tuition running out of steam. However, an hour may be better for A-Level.
- Buying in advance up to 10% off
Buying MULTIPLE sessions in advance will also help keep costs down (used anytime within 12months). 2 tutorials – 5% off 5 tutorials – 10% off
- Groups from £26
GROUP Tuition is another way of keeping control of the costs. Two or three friends working together helps everyone make progress. TWO students per session (1 hour) – £26 THREE students per session (1 hour) – £30
